CNC Consultancy Services Delivery Model
General Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Architect and/or Lead Consultant, CNC would attend and contribute to Consultant Team meetings in order for the Project to be taken forward in an orderly fashion in line with the strategy dictated by the Procurement Programme.
Via the Lead Consultant, CNC will report to the Client on significant issues relevant to CNC and, (in addition to Stage Reports) contribute to status reports from the Consultant Team for reporting progress to the Project Board and/or Client.
Stage C Outline Proposal & Stage D Detailed Proposals
Verify, analyse and check the proposals for compliance with the Building Regulations and advise the Lead Consultant of the findings of our analysis, making recommendations and highlighting modifications as may be necessary.
Contribute to the generation of the RIBA Stage C & D Report(s).
Stage E Final Proposals Stage F Production Information
In tandem with the Planning Application process, give direction to the development of the Final Proposals verifying compliance with the Regulations.
Assist in the provision of Regulations compliant coordinated Production Information.
Confirm statutory compliance with the Regulations.
Contribute to the generation of the RIBA Stage E (& F) Report(s).
*CNC Building Control appointed as the Statutory Building Control Service provider
Receive instructions from the client to proceed with the statutory building regulation function through the LABC Partner Authority Scheme. CNC will instruct the inspecting authority to issue a formal Approval to the client team.
*Instructions to proceed with the statutory building control function may be at Stage D (for D+B procured contracts) or up to Stage F (if traditional procurement) and depends on the preferred procurement route. |
