Clients are seeking to bring the outdoors into their homes when extending their property which tends to include extensive glazing. Approved Document L1B of the Building Regulations limits the amount of glazing to 25% of the total internal area of the extension unless the proposed design can be proven by calculations to be no worse than a notional extension. This is where we can help.
