In any project, construction or otherwise, milestones and deliverables are key to the success of the project. Using the RIBA Plan of Work Stages, CNC CS believes that stages C, D, E and F are key stages of the project requiring our analysis, verification and checking for compliance to reduce risk and offer cost certainty to the client.

At Stage D (if D+B procurement) or up to Stage F (traditional procurement), the consultancy service will run in tandem with the statutory function and enable building control body to formally approve the project.

During the construction phase Stage K, CNC CS will monitor the work and advise the client of any deviations or contraventions of the Building Regulations.

At post practical completion, CNC CS will contribute to the generation of non-compliant snagging and make post-rectification site inspections on behalf of the client. CNC will work closely with the client, design team and contractors advising on issues that require attention prior to the inspecting authority issuing a final certificate. Finally, CNC CS will take part in the post project review process with the project team.
